Well folks I moved up a notch, and now I’m headed to the “Elk River Area 63” speech contest. Our area has three clubs, with each club sending their winners to compete against each other. I wish I could tell you that I was able vanquish all of my opponents, but I was the only one from our club to enter.
The contest will be held at the United Methodist Church on Thursday March 29th, 2012, from 6:30-8:00 pm, located at 1304 Main Street in Elk River, MN. If you’ve ever wondered what Toastmasters is all about, then I highly recommend visiting a speech contest.
