Well, I had the good fortune of winning our Area Toastmasters speech contest this past Thursday, and now I move on to the division contest to be held in a couple of weeks. The competition for this next contest will be tougher, being that I’ll be competing against the winners from our other five areas. I’ll keep you posted!
A special shout-out to Chuck Carstensen for taking the time to put together a great contest. Chuck is extremely busy with his real estate business, a new baby boy, church functions, but he still finds the time to help out with our local Toastmasters Club, as well as being our Area Governor.
