It’s been a while since I’ve taken a long weekend, so I was due for one. I think that’s what you tell yourself to help justify the time-off. This has been a very busy January for me, but I really needed to get away and recharge my battery.
The weather turned kind of ugly; and with the wind blowing across a frozen lake at 15-20 miles an hour when it’s zero degrees out, turns a little fishing outing into a full-fledged adventure. The fishing was a little slow, but I really enjoyed the time away, and besides I did catch the biggest fish!
